1. Summer Castle Ceilidh

Warwick Castle is set to host this Friday (7 August).

Guests can enjoy an evening of music, dance and fun while they immerse themselves in the Great Hall with a live Ceilidh band.

It is suitable for beginners and children.

Each package includes:

  • A fun evening of medieval ceilidh dancing in the Great Hall with the castle's resident ceilidh band!
  • A one-off summer special, including a refreshing Pimm's or soft drink during the halfway break in our Courtyard
  • A bar available to purchase drinks throughout the evening

2. English Civil War Re‑enactment Weekend

Step back in time and experience the drama of the English Civil War at St John's House and Gardens.

Meet the Worcester Reenactors and explore their authentic Civil War encampment. Discover what life was really like for parliamentary soldiers and civilians in the army through thrilling drill displays, musket gunfire, crafts, and living history demonstrations.

Wander through the historic house to uncover period rooms, displays and stories from the Civil War era, bringing this remarkable site to life.

There will also be a variety of trade stalls offering livinghistory goods, crafts and periodinspired items.

3. Guys Cliffe Social

Also taking place this week is Guys Cliffe Social.

The event will be held on Friday 7 August from 5pm to 7pm at the historic courtyard at Guys Cliffe, hosted by Street Food OnTap.

Kick off your weekend with street food, live music, a licensed bar, and children's garden games in a truly unique venue.

What to expect:

  • Street food by Street Food OnTap: Serving up , buttermilk fried chicken, halloumi fries, crispy falafel , loaded cheesecake, ice cream and sweet treats.
  • Live music: The perfect soundtrack as the sun goes down over the historic grounds.
