Over 20 local professional artists, alumni, teachers, and students are set to feature at a local charity art auction in Warwick next month.

The Warwick Schools Foundation will host the charity art auction in aid the local charity, Kissing it Better, whose mission is to end the isolation of old age by bringing generations together.

The Charity Art Auction will take place at King's High Hall at Kings High School on Friday 21 November 6pm to 8.30pm, featuring 55 professional pieces and 14 student works.

This is in an effort to raise funds for Kissing It Better, a charity it has proudly supported for over 15 years.

Guests will enjoy live music, food, and drinks, with a professional auctioneer leading the evening.

All proceeds will support Kissing It Better's vital work tackling loneliness through creative community projects.

Organisers said: "This promises to be one of the most vibrant local art events of the year, so please come along!

"There is no expectation to buy a piece if you come to the auction, it is both a celebration of local talent and an opportunity to raise money for Kissing it Better."

Admission is now free with a voluntary donation at the door, but guests are advised to still book to attend.

The pieces for sale along with more details are available here.

Across the Foundation, Warwick Schools has proudly supported Kissing it Better for over 15 years, from volunteering at Warwick Hospital on Friday afternoons, to collaborative art and craft projects that brighten hospital walls.

The auction will commence at circa 6.30pm.

For food guests can enjoy a Build-Your-Own Nacho Bar, warm, crispy tortilla chips with a wide choice of toppings, including homemade British beef chilli, plant-based chilli, creamy guacamole, fresh salsas, cheese, sour cream, jalapeños, and more.

Pre-ordering meals will save attendees £1 compared to buying on the night.

Organisers said: "This formal evening is open to all, whether you'd like to bid in the auction or simply enjoy the exhibition, music, and atmosphere, there is something for everyone to enjoy."

To bid in the auction guests must be at least 18 years old.
