Residents filled the streets of Warwick today (November 10) for Remembrance Sunday.

The service - which was also broadcast on speakers in Market Square - began at St Mary's Church with hymns including Jerusalem and I Vow Thee to My Country.

During the service Reverend Canon Angus Aagaard removed his robes in order to show his military uniform.

The Rector then spoke about the privilege of living in a democratic and free country and the bravery of those in the armed forces who serve this country.

The service then moved from the church and onto Church Street for the laying of the wreaths and the two-minutes silence before the war memorial.

After the silence the parade, including the band, regiments and scouts and guides, led a procession around the town centre streets.
