Brought to Warwick District by Bicycle Mayor, Simon Storey, Chasing The Sun is an inspirational film about cycling and all the benefits that it brings to people.

We follow 2 participants who take on an epic coast to coast cycle challenge covering over 200 miles where they try to beat the sun, starting at sun rise on the east coast and arriving on the west coast before sun set on the longest day of the year , both share their own reasons for taking on the challenge.

Along the journey the film stops off at various locations to see different initiatives that cycling is at the heart of and how these initiatives help their communities.

You will definitely leave feeling inspired!!!

As a prelude to the film a short active travel film will be shown that features our very own The Bicycle Bus, set up and run by Bicycle Mayor of Warwick District, Simon Storey. This short films shows how a Bicycle Bus is run and follows Simon as he helps to set up another Bicycle Bus in Neighbouring Wellesbourne.

There will be a Q & A panel after the film including BAFTA award winning filmmaker Michael Clifford, Bicycle Mayor Simon Storey and rider Lucy Beeley (both Simon and Lucy are taking on Chase The Sun this year)
