Warwick's businesses are serving up an array of tennis-themed treats as the town embraces Wimbledon 2026.

A big screen is coming to Warwick's Market Square on the weekend of 11 and 12 July for the Wimbledon finals, along with a special astroturf viewing area, deckchairs, benches and tennis-themed props.

But the fun doesn't stop there, with businesses from across the town getting on board to mark the full two weeks of the tournament, which started on Monday (29 June) and ends on finals' weekend.

As tennis fever hits the town, locals and visitors will be able to enjoy Wimbledon window displays from businesses including Porcelain and Pillows, Lyra Beauty, Warwick Sports, Heaphys, HEM and Hamlingtons.

Kelly Scott, Warwick Town Centre Manager, said the finals weekend is aimed at the whole community, with the normal market taking place on Saturday 11 July around the tennis area, followed by the arrival of Pangaea Sculptors Centre's mobile studio on Sunday 12, giving children the opportunity to create their own Wimbledon-inspired sculptures and an opportunity to learn how to play with coaches from Warwick Tennis Club.

She shared: "This really is something aimed at bringing together the whole community - giving locals and visitors alike the chance to see Warwick at its best and our thriving array of independent businesses who are all pulling out the stops to join in with our tennis-themed celebrations.

"The giant screen was hugely popular previously so we're thrilled to be bringing it back and would love everyone to come and join in the fun. Grab your friends and family, browse the shops and grab something to eat and drink from local businesses, then soak up what will be a great atmosphere on finals weekend and also throughout the tournament. We can never promise the weather but come along rain or shine and join in the fun."

Hamlingtons is also providing a special Wimbledon viewing area and a tennis bracelet sale, while Victoria Jane Premium Eyewear is offering a discount on sunglasses to watch the tennis.

Strawberries and cream are on the menu across the town, with the Market Hall Museum serving up the classic tennis-related treat on both days of the finals weekend. Meanwhile, throughout the tournament Mary's Sweets will be offering strawberry and white chocolate milkshakes as well as free tennis ball chewing gums on a first-come, first-served basis.

On Smith Street, The Craftsman is serving up Wimbledon stuffed French toast served with whipped cream and chopped strawberries. It has also created its own Wimbledon-themed cocktail 'Love All', and will be serving Pimms and Lemonade during the tournament.

House of Flour has created hyper-realistic tennis ball cakes for the occasion, as well as ensuring strawberry patisserie is on the menu, while Happy Puccia has created the 'Puccia Sinner' - named after Italian player Jannik Sinner.

For those looking to watch the action on Warwick's big screen, The Tuckery is selling takeaway strawberries, cream and a drink deal, and Warwick Spice is offering a Wimbledon discount for those looking to finish their day with a meal.

Warwick Sports - a long established sports shop specialising in tennis - is not only putting on a Wimbledon window display but has also contributed to the town's tennis fever by offering themed props to fellow businesses and helped in organising it.

When it comes to drinks, tennis-themed tipples will be plentiful in the coming weeks, and served up in Wimbledon-themed plastic glasses in the Market Square for those wanting to enjoy them in the viewing area.

The Eagle is offering frozen strawberry daiquiris and strawberry sour beer, while The Tilted Wig is also planning Wimbledon-related drinks. On the High Street, the Warwick Arms Hotel has also created its own Wimbledon-inspired cocktail and will also be serving Pimms to quench tennis fans' thirst.
