And don't forget - it's Warwick Market on Saturday!

Here are our top picks for the coming days:

1. Victorian Evening

The popular community event returns on Thursday (23 November), offering locals the chance to step back in time and experience the sights, sounds and smells of a Victorian Christmas.

The event starts from 3pm in Market Place and surrounding streets with a Victorian market and era-themed rides, just in time for the kids finishing school.

Visitors can browse the Victorian Christmas Market with crafts, gift ideas and community stalls with some traders in traditional costume.

The whole family will be entertained with various fairground rides, amusements and street entertainers whilst enjoying the festive food and drink. And, in keeping with tradition, the Christmas Tree Festival will be taking place in St Mary's Church.

2. Live Steam

Residents will be able to see steam power in action on the mainline this weekend as the 'Capital Christmas Express' travels through Warwickshire.

Organised by the Railway Touring Company, the express will head through the county twice as it makes the return journey from Chester to London Paddington on Saturday (November 25).

The Railway Touring Company's website says: "After picking up at Birmingham New Street, we take the suburban lines through to Bordesley where we will join the former GWR main line route from Birmingham Snow Hill to Oxford and London Paddington.

"Our last pick up station will be Solihull before we reach Warwick and descend Hatton Bank.

"Next is the Warwickshire town of Royal Leamington Spa.

"We should now start to get up speed on the long rural stretch of line through to Banbury, where we will continue to follow the main line to Oxford."

3. The Weirdly Festive Walk of Warwick

It's time for another guided walk of Warwick on Thursday (November 23).

Starting outside the Lord Leycester Hospital, meet your guide as they take you on a journey through the town, telling you all about festive crimes, famous faces and wintery tales.

Organisers said: "You'll visit different locations in the town and learn all about the terrifying, strange and true tales that took place.

"From The Great Fire of Warwick, that tore through the town; to a bloody murder in the back alleys; the ghosts that haunt the buildings, and the night when the Gunpowder Plot made its way to town."
