1. ROAR! Dinosaurs at the Museum

It's dinosaur time at Warwick's Market Hall Museum this Friday (August 18).

The family activity runs throughout the day.

Meet dinosaur expert the Lowe Ranger and her baby dinosaurs. 

Can you become a Dinosaur Ranger, what skills do you need to work with dinosaurs? Complete the tasks and activities around the museum to earn your Level 1 Dinosaur Ranger certificate.

2. Drinks Festival

A new Drinks Festival in Leamington will celebrate local producers from across Warwickshire this week.

44 Café, Bistro and Bar is hosting the four-day event between Thursday and Sunday, including live entertainment from Jimmy Lapworth, Kirsty Ann, Rocky Road and Gareth John.

Independent producers involved are hosts Windmill Hill Brewing Company, Leamington; Warwickshire Gin Company, Leamington; North Cotswold Brewery, Shipston; Slaughterhouse Brewery, Warwick; Shakespeare Brewing Company, Stretton on Fosse; Church End Brewery, Mancetter; Byatt's Brewery, Coventry; Napton Cidery, Napton-on-the-Hill; Hogan's Cider, Alcester; Pinnock Distillery, Kineton and Cana Wines, Leamington.

The Drinks Festival takes place between 3-9pm Thursday, Friday and Saturday and between 12-6pm on Sunday.

3. Dragon Slayer

Dragon Slayer - a 360 Immersive Spectacular - returns to Warwick Castle from Friday 11 to 20 August.

"Get ready for the much-anticipated return of Dragon Slayer, an incredible evening spectacle that combines horses, light shows, stunts, and fireworks all in one location - the castle's Courtyard," organisers said.

"This immersive UK first will leave audiences captivated with fearless fighting, thrilling battles, and breathtaking horse-riding stunts. And that's not all - the show culminates in a world-class projection mapping and firework finale that will leave you in awe."
