1. Annual Ceilidh with The Cat's Whiskers Band

St Mary's Church is set to host the Friends of St Mary's Choir annual Ceilidh with The Cat's Whiskers Band this Saturday.

Enjoy an evening of dancing under the expert direction of The Cat's Whiskers Band and caller in the beautiful and atmospheric St Mary's Church, Warwick.

Organisers shared: "Grab your dancing shoes (flats recommended...) and book your tickets! Doors open at 6.00pm so you can find a seat and a drink before the dancing starts at 6.30pm. "

The evening finishes at 9.30pm, with a buffet supper included, and drinks available to purchase.

2. Wellbeing Day at Hill Close Gardens

Locals are invited to enjoy a relaxing wellbeing day at Hill Close Gardens in Warwick this Saturday (5 September).

Organisers shared: Come and join us for some time in nature whilst you move between different short sessions of mindfulness, yoga, gongs, laughter and slow stitching between 12 noon and 2pm.

"Enjoy the rest of the day in our gardens, and why not add an extra of a savoury lunch."

The event is £5.00 for members and £10 for non members.

The gardens will be open for the normal hours which are 11am to 4pm.

3. Eco Fest

Nearby in Leamington, locals are invited to celebrate everything eco once again, as Eco Fest returns to the town this weekend.

The event will take place on Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 September at the Royal Pump Room Gardens from 10am to 5pm.

Eco Fest is free to attend and is for anyone interested in learning how to decrease their carbon footprint, increase their healthy eating and step outside more to explore local green spaces.

Vegan, veggie and local organic meat will be available on the day, along with craft activities, live music on the bandstand, a performance by a theatre company and more.

Now in its seventh year, the event has attracted over 8,000 visitors since it first began in 2019 and has become a staple part of the town's events calendar.
