2. Garden Tours at the Lord Leycester

Due to popular demand, a brand-new Garden Tour at the Lord Leycester is coming this May half term.

Join one of the knowledgeable guides to explore the beautiful historic gardens, uncovering centuries of history, hidden features, and peaceful green spaces tucked away in the heart of Warwick.

Organisers said: "From the medieval origins of the site to fascinating features such as the Pineapple Pit and Nilometer, this tour offers a unique insight into a garden that has been enjoyed for over 500 years. Along the way, you'll discover how the gardens have evolved, the people who have cared for them, and the role they continue to play today.

"Whether you're a history enthusiast, a garden lover, or simply looking to experience a quieter side of the Lord Leycester, this guided tour is the perfect addition to your visit.

The tours run from Tuesday 26 to Sunday 31 May from 1.30pm to 2.15pm daily.
