Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service members and vehicles gathered in Leamington this week.

It came as part of a planned planned training exercise in partnership with Warwick District Council.

The event took place at Christine Ledger Square in Leamington Thursday 2 April 2026, between 10am and 1pm.

The exercise was designed to test firefighters' response to a simulated fire in a high-rise building.

"This is a routine, controlled training activity, and any fire service presence in the area that morning should not be a cause for concern."
