After being open for only one day, Warwick's paddling pool has closed again.

The pool at St Nicholas Park reopened to the public for the first time yesterday (Wednesday 29 July).

Prior to this, the facility had been shut for nearly two-years, initially closing for refurbishment works back in 2024.

Now, less than 24 hours in operation, the pool will be closed until the weekend.

The council has announced the closure is due to reports of faeces found in the water.

As a result, the pool will undergo a full emptying, deep cleaning and chlorination before it can be used again.
