It's exciting news for Warwick's Christmas decorations, with the curtain of light set to return this year after a generous donnation.

The curtain of light has sparkled over Warwick's Market Square each festive season for ten years.

It was first lit in 2015, thanks to fundraising by former Mayor of Warwick, Mandy Littlejohn.

However, the curtain recently reached the end of its life and stopped working.

This year, Warwick's Christmas Lights team has been working closely with local businesses and organisations to find a solution and is "thrilled to announce" that the Warwick Schools Foundation has generously agreed to cover the cost of a brand new curtain of light for Christmas 2025.

The Warwick's Christmas Lights team expressed the new display will be "bigger, brighter, and more dazzling than ever before, bringing even more festive sparkle to our beautiful town."

It went onto express gratitude towards the Warwick School Foundation for its amazing support and spirit of Christmas in Warwick.

This year, the lights switch on event will take place in Warwick on Thursday 27 November 2025 from 7.00pm at Market Square.
