A popular Thai restaurant in the centre of Warwick has closed its doors for the final time.

Totally Thai shut at the end of March, bringing an end to 26 years of serving customers in the town.

The business' owners took to social media to break the news to customers.

"After 26 incredible years of serving mouthwatering Thai cuisine to our beloved community, the time has come for us to bid farewell," the post said.

"As of March 30, 2024, we'll be closing our doors, marking the end of an unforgettable chapter.

"To all our cherished patrons, whether you've been with us from the start or discovered us along the way, we extend our deepest gratitude.

"Your unwavering support, loyalty, and smiles have fueled our passion every single day.

"From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for allowing us to be a part of your lives and dining experiences. Your memories shared within these walls will forever hold a special place in our hearts.

"While it's bittersweet to say goodbye, we're filled with gratitude for the countless memories and relationships we've built over the years. It's time for us to embark on a new journey of retirement and embrace the next chapter of life's adventure.

"From our family to yours, thank you for an incredible 26 years. Your love and support have meant everything to us. Cheers to the past and to new beginnings!"

Until recently the business was being marketed by agent Veritas Business Sales for £44,950, but the advert has now been taken down.

The Market Place restaurant has already had its sign removed, with work stripping the inside of the eatery already underway.
