Warwick pub launching new weekly 'dog day'

A Warwick pub is promising a "relaxing" new weekly 'dog day' to bring together dog owners and dog-loving guests.
The Craftsman on Smith Street is launching the new Wednesday morning initiative which will start next week.
From Wednesday 5 March, guests can head to the craft beer bar from 8.30am to 12pm on a weekly basis to socialise with other dog owners, find new dog walking pals and "socialise your furry friends with other dogs".
The weekly event will be free to attend and no booking will be required.
Free dog biscuits and 10 per cent off Sir Woofchester dog snacks will be available for canine guests.
For humans - there will be a special offer of coffee and a slice of cake for £5. The brunch and lunch menu will also be available.
But no dog is required to attend.
"No pup? No problem! Come sip and socialise with fellow dog fans," the pub said in its newsletter.
"Find new friends (two-legged or four!) over coffee and cake.
"Thinking of getting a dog? Talk to owners about their experiences
"Coffees, teas, soft drinks, cakes, snacks, breakfast, brunch and lunch available."
The Craftsman was launched in Smith Street in July 2023, run by father and son Paul and Harvey Brown, supported by mum Jacqui and brother Regan.
As well as its impressive range of 16 ever-changing draught beers, the venue also offers a huge range of drinks in its bottle shop.
