Here are the biggest planning stories from the last week in and around Warwick.

Micropub

Barstaff rather than baristas could soon be serving drinks at a former cafe on a Warwick housing estate after plans to change its use to a micropub were approved.

Six members of the public had objected to the plans on the grounds of noise disturbance, problems with parking, and the suitability of the venue given that it was just a few metres away from the Unicorn pub.

Ward member Cllr Richard Hales urged councillors to go against the recommendation of their planning officer and approve the plan.
