Warwick planning roundup: McDonalds, road junction and hotel to homes
Here are the biggest planning stories from the last week in and around Warwick.
EV Chargers
Plans to install six more electric vehicle chargers at a Warwick McDonalds have been given the green light by district planners.
Public charging network InstaVolt has been given planning permission to turn existing parking spaces at the Stratford Road fast food restaurant into rapid EV charging stations.
The company already has four chargers at the site on the edge of town.

Temporary Turning
A temporary road junction is set to be created to allow 180 new homes to be built near Warwick Technology Park.
Developer William Davies Ltd has already been given outline planning permission for the Gallows Hill estate, but is still waiting for Warwick District Council (WDC) to give a final decision on the reserved matters application.
But as the house builder gets ready to start developing the 14 hectare site, it has now been granted planning permission for a temporary access road for construction traffic.
----------
Hotel to Homes
A former hotel is set to be converted in houses and apartments after a planning inspector overturned a decision by district planners.
Warwick District Council (WDC) had refused permission to convert the Glebe Hotel into four houses and four apartments at the end of last year, after 35 members of the public raised objections.
But applicants High Desert International Limited appealed the decision, and have now been told their scheme for the grade II listed hotel can go ahead.
