Here are the biggest local planning stories from the past week.
Decision Finally Made
Plans to turn a former Warwick car showroom into two new shops have been rejected, following multiple pushbacks on a decision.
The former Kia showroom on Stratford Road has been vacant since April 2023.
An application to convert the showroom into two retail units was submitted to Warwick District Council by Warwickshire Partnership.
House to be Demolished

Warwick District Council has given planning permission for the building on Gallagher Way to be flattened, with the land due to be developed into two, four-bed homes.
The rest of the space is earmarked for four 'self-build' plots, designs of which have not been put forward.
Five Guys
Five Guys has been given a boost in its plans to open its new takeaway at Leamington Shopping Park.
The fast food giant has been given the green light for a series of signs at the new unit which has been built alongside a new KFC drive thru.
The two eateries have replaced a former Frankie & Benny's which was demolished last year.
