Here are the biggest local planning stories from the past week.
Station Stalled
Part of the building at Warwick Station will be demolished and rebuilt, with a new shop also installed.
That is if updated plans for the 'Access for All' scheme are signed off by Warwick District Council (WDC).
Following the discovery of Victorian building remains last summer, work on the project was halted for months, with construction only resuming a matter of weeks ago.
And now Network Rail has submitted a prior approval planning application to WDC, asking for the project's designs to be changed.
Drive Thru Decision
A new coffee drive-thru targeting custom from the M40 has been granted planning permission despite councillors anticipating traffic "chaos".
Members of Warwick District Council's planning committee were reluctant in giving the green light to proposals for the new shop on the site of the Marriott Hotel, Stratford Road, Warwick.
It is accessed almost directly from the Longbridge roundabout that serves junction 15 of the M40 motorway with the hotel having a shared access with The Peacocks – a private cul-de-sac with residential properties to the east of the hotel.
Affordable Homes
A former Ministry of Defence (MOD) site could be turned into affordable homes, if plans are signed off by the district council.
Altus Homes and Morro Partnerships has applied for planning permission for 34 homes on the piece of land off Oakdene Crescent, Hatton.
If approved the scheme would see a mix of one to four-bed homes built on the 1.17 hectare site.
