Warwick planning roundup: A46, Lidl and murals

Here are the biggest local planning stories from the past week.
A46 Reopens
New images shared by HS2 today (April 30) have shown the A46 reopened after a near three-week closure.
The dual carriageway has been shut between Coventry and Kenilworth since April 11 for the new bridge to be installed.
The A46 opened again last night, earlier than the planned May 1 reopening.
Lidl Plans?
Supermarket giant Lidl has once again said it is looking for a new location around Warwick.
Having said in previous years it wants another site around the town, the discount retailer has included 'Warwick -South' on its refreshed list of desired locations, published this week.
Its latest list of desired sites comes as Lidl aims to open 40 new stores in the next financial year, investing half a billion pounds.
Mural Plans
A tired underpass in Warwick is set for a "vibrant transformation", thanks to a new community art project that will see it turned into a striking mural celebrating the town's past, present, and future.
The initiative is being led by Priory Pools Community Centre (PPCC) and Packmores Residents Association (PAC), who have appointed renowned street art organisation BRINK to bring the vision to life.
BRINK is headed by Tim Robottom, the creative force behind the Leamington Mural Festival, known for bringing world-class street art to the region.
