Warwick now sixth most expensive place to live in Warwickshire

Warwick is now the sixth most expensive Warwickshire town to live in, according to new data released by HM Land Registry.

The data uses the average prices of houses sold in each area, across the 12 months leading up to the end of October.

The last time Nub News looked at this data, Henley-in-Arden topped the list with an average sold price of £683,500.

Henley has now slipped to second (£463,840) with the average property price in Kenilworth over the past year the highest at £473,835.

The rest of the top five is made up by Leamington Spa, Stratford-upon-Avon and Shipston - the same mix of towns as the last time we looked at the data.

The average property price across Warwickshire was £351,075.

Meanwhile in Warwick the average house set buyers back £345,128.

In the town detached houses sold for an average of £497,026, semi-detached for £336,756 and terraced houses for £358,040.
