Warwick jewellers closes for final time - but shop will reopen with new owner next month

A Warwick jewellers has closed for the final time following weeks of major discounts.
Andersons of Warwick has been offering up to 50 per cent off its jewellery as the shop wound down before owner Peter Vandome retired.
The Market Place business held its final day of in-person sales on Saturday (January 6).
Andersons has been quick to thank customers on social media for their support, and has also revealed the unit is set to remain a jewellers.
"As of 22 December 2023, we are delighted to announce that Joanne Maddison will be taking over the premises to start her own business," a post on Facebook said.
"We wish Joanne every success with Maddison's Jewellers, coming February 2024.
"Starting as a Saturday girl, Joanne began working at Andersons in 2011 and worked to become an integral part of the business as a qualified diamond grader, gemmologist and the manager of the shop.
"Joanne looks forward to welcoming you in early February!"
