Plans to cover the roof of a Warwick hotel with solar panels have been pulled.

Atlas Hotels Limited asked for permission in principle for the panels at the Holiday Inn Express on Stratford Road.

The application was for 249 panels capable of putting out a total power of 112 kWp.

Drawings submitted show the panels would have been installed on three sides of the roof of the 'L-shaped' building.

But the application has been pulled from consideration.

No reason for the move has been given by Atlas.
