A Warwick footpath is set to close for up to six months for "essential bridge maintenance".
Public footpath F23040 at Scar Bank, Warwick, will be shut from Scar Bank to the cycle track between Lock Lane and Greenway from Monday 26 October.
Works could last up to six months, an update from Cllr Simon Pargeter confirmed.
A diversion will be in place during the works.
"A special thank you to Cllr John Holland and Cllr Jim Sinnott for their hard work in helping to make progress towards getting these works on Scar Bank underway," Cllr Pargeter said in his update.
"It is encouraging to see progress being made on this important issue."
