The Warwick Dog Walkers Group has announced a community-led dog calendar project has raised an impressive £350 to support the development of the new Priory Pools Community Centre.

The idea, born from conversations among regular Priory Park dog walkers, quickly turned into a heartwarming community effort.

The calendar, featuring much-loved local dogs, was designed by Charlotte Sellers, whose creativity and hard work helped bring the project to life.

The group also expresses its gratitude to Dog Deli for their generous sponsorship, which ensured the project could go ahead.

With such a positive response, the group is already hoping to produce another calendar for 2026, celebrating even more of Warwick's four-legged friends.

Jon Soros and Simon Pargeter from the Warwick Dog Walkers Group said: "We're absolutely delighted by the support shown by our local dog-walking community. Every calendar purchased brings us one step closer to a fantastic new community space for everyone to enjoy. We want to thank Charlotte, Dog Deli for their sponsorship, and all those who contributed — this success truly reflects the spirit of Warwick"

The new Priory Pools Community Centre, which will be the bigger and better home for the current Packmores Community Centre and a resource for the whole community to use.

The new centre will build on the current services, but will be able to do so much more with an amazing new building on the edge of Priory Pools. It will have a large hall and smaller rooms to hire out, allowing more clubs, activities and societies to take place nearby. There will be a permanent food pantry and a new community cafe, too, open to the local community.

Janette Eslick, Lead fundraiser and Trustee, Priory Pools Community Centre said: "We hope that you too, will want to help out in some way to bring this amazing new community facility to Priory Pools! Please buy a Christmas raffle ticket by 17 December for just £1 here.

"With amazing star prizes including spa passes, dining vouchers, family days out, beauty hampers, coaching sessions, boat hire, pottery workshops, racecourse tickets, Warwick Castle passes and so much more… there's never been a better time to join in!"

Priory Pools Community Centre has recently launched a campaign for residents of Warwick to come together to raise £20k to help them on their way to getting their new centre.
