Warwick chain restaurant bids to keep outside seating

A chain restaurant in the centre of Warwick has applied for permission to keep its outside seating.

Giggling Squid has submitted a pavement licence application to Warwick District Council for its tables on High Street.

If approved, the licence would allow the Thai eatery to keep its four tables and eight chairs for another two years.

The application said they would be in use from 9am to 11pm seven days a week.

A similar application was approved two years ago.
