To celebrate the year of the Queen's Platinum Jubilee, Warwick Castle is hosting its biggest ever year of events and shows.

While favourites, such as Wars of the Roses LIVE!, The Falconer's Quest and Dragon Slayer are all returning, the iconic Warwick landmark is also launching brand new experiences, including Midsummer Carnivalwhich is set to extend the Jubilee celebrations beyond the bank holiday weekend.

The full calendar of events includes:

Midsummer Carnival - brand new for 2022 - 11 June to 10 July, 2022

Extending the festivities beyond the Jubilee Weekend, Warwick Castle will be holding the ultimate Tudor solstice celebration from June 11.

Warwick Castle will take guests back in time with a range of immersive experiences, including a brand-new equestrian celebration in a purpose-built arena.

Based on a Midsummer's Night Dream by the UK's most renowned playwright, William Shakespeare, the jousting show will see Queen Elizabeth I watching Shakespeare's unveiling of his 'new show' filled with epic battles, fairies performing the 'liberty routine' alongside horses and a range of heart-stopping horse stunts and tricks - including a UK first, which see a rider complete a full-circle under the horse whilst galloping.

The festivities continue with a Shakespearian welcome and minstrels performing modern songs on the East Front, a Knight's garrison school for both adults and children, a living museum - complete with bowman demonstrations, and crafting stations - including friendship bracelet weaving, have a go archery, jousting academy, jester school, as well as so much more!

Michael Bublé and Tears for Fears live - July 2022

Adding musical performances from some of the world's most renowned artists, Michael Bublé and Tears for Fears will be taking to the stage in the grounds of Warwick Castle this summer.

Audiences can sing along to their favourite songs and dance the night away on the Pageant Field as the artists appear at the castle for the very first time.

Michael Bublé will be performing at Warwick Castle on 13 July. Tickets from £70 per person.

Tears for Fears will be taking to the stage at Warwick Castle on 15 July. Tickets from £75 per person.

Wars of the Roses LIVE! returns - 23 July to 4 September

Unleashing one of Britain's most famous historical events in an epic display of awe-inspiring sword fighting, dynamic horse riding stunts and thrilling jousts, Wars of the Roses LIVE! returns this summer. Once again the renowned Knights of Middle England will bring to life the dangerous drama of the rival houses of York and Lancaster, in which Warwick Castle played a vital part. Pick a side from July 23rd to September 4th, as the iconic historical event is unleashed in front of your eyes.

Dragon Slayer - 12 to 21 August 2022

The renowned, much-loved spectacular that is Dragon Slayer returns for the first time since the pandemic.

This immersive, unforgettable night of theatrical entertainment, fearless fighting, thrilling battles and exhilarating horse riding stunts will truly have audiences mesmerised - and that's even before the thrilling journey of storytelling and special effects culminates in its world-class projection mapping and firework finale!

Bringing a brand-new format to the legend of Guy of Warwick, the epic show will be set in within the castle walls in a purpose-built arena, encapsulating audiences in a 360-degree daredevil theatrical performance. With a host of street food and bar options available, this is one summer event not to be missed!

Sundown Spectacular - 25 to 29 August, 2022

The perfect way to commemorate the end of summer, Digbeth Dining Club, one of the UK's leading operators, will once again be bringing an encapsulating evening of live bands, DJs, unique bars and sumptuous street food to the iconic Castle grounds.

As the sun sets over the magnificent grounds, illuminating Castle towers will bring Warwick Castle to life under the stars before the evening ends in a spectacular fireworks finale that truly crowns this unmissable event.

Luna Cinema returns - 16 -18 September

With 2022 being the year that Hollywood cinema makes a triumphant return to the big screen, Warwick Castle will once again be hosting a fantastic line up of cinematic experiences under the stars.

From Marvel's spectacular "Spider-Man: No Way Home" and Spielberg's award-winning interpretation of West Side Story to retro favourite and Academy Award Winner Dirty Dancing, there's a whole host of film night wonders to enjoy.

Of course, no cinema trip is complete without snacks and treats so a range of fabulous food and bar options will be available - along with premium and VIP seat options.

The Haunted Castle - 22, 23 and 28 - 31 October, 2022

Join witches, wizards, ghosts and ghouls in a range of interactive experiences, from casting spells and defending the castle in a range of special Halloween schools, to performances and games on the Dead Centre Stage, there's plenty of family-friendly frightful fun to enjoy.

What's more, further new Halloween attractions and shows are yet to be announced.

Castle After Dark - 22, 23 and 28 - 31 October, 2022

Discover haunted spirits and spine-tingling frights as an evening of live music, captivating entertainment, quirky roaming characters, delicious street food and thrilling attractions takes you on a journey through some of the castle's most terrifying history.

Evening tickets from £20 per person.
