Parking restrictions have been lifted at a Warwick car park this festive season.
Free parking will be available at Cape Road Car Park on several dates this November and December 2025.
It comes as part of Warwickshire County Council's plans to support Warwick Town Centre and St Mary's Christmas Tree Festival to support the annual St Mary's Christmas Tree Festival and to encourage residents and visitors into Warwick town centre throughout the festive season.
One hundred free parking spaces will be available on the following dates: Thursday 27 November to Friday 5 December (inclusive) and 22, 23 and 24 December.
This temporary measure will make 100 free parking spaces available during these dates, enabling easier access for visitors attending Warwick Town Centre & St Mary's Christmas Tree Festival.
This event attracts around 7,000 people each year—and provides a timely boost to Warwick's retail and hospitality sectors at a crucial time in the trading calendar.
Helen Fitzpatrick, Festival Co-organiser, said: "We are delighted and extremely grateful to Warwickshire County Council for their support. Free parking during the festival will make a significant difference to visitors and to the vitality of Warwick town centre at this important time of year.
"This initiative not only supports local businesses but also helps to sustain a much-loved Warwick tradition, ensuring that the St Mary's Christmas Tree Festival continues to bring joy to the community each year."

With 73 decorated trees sponsored by local organisations, schools, charities, and businesses, St Mary's Christmas Tree Festival is one of Warwick's most cherished community traditions.
Kelly Scott, Warwick Town Centre Manager, added: "This decision is fantastic news for Warwick.
"Free parking will not only support the Christmas Tree Festival, which is a much-loved community event, but will also help drive footfall into our wonderful independent shops, cafés, and businesses. We're thrilled to see this level of partnership working to strengthen our town centre during the festive season."
Warwick Town Council and festival organisers welcome visitors from near and far to enjoy the festival and explore everything that Warwick has to offer this Christmas.
In addition, Warwick's Christmas Lights will now be illuminated daily from 4pm until Monday 5 January 2026, adding even more festive sparkle to the town centre throughout the season.
