A Warwick tea room has been awarded a 2024 Travellers' Choice Award for its consistent stream of positive Tripadvisor reviews.

The Oken Tea Rooms on Castle Street has received the award in the restaurant category having been in the top 10 per cent of restaurants in the world.

The award comes just months after the historic café was taken over by new owner Hannah Warner.

As well as shortening the name (from The Thomas Oken Tea Rooms), Hannah has also given the tea rooms a makeover with new décor and furniture installed.

And following the announcement of the award, the team took to social media to say: "Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to leave a review - it is really appreciated."
