An independent cafe in Warwick has officially closed its doors.

FatBirds Cafe, located on Brook Street in Warwick has closed, with the team citing low foot traffic as the reason.

The team shared that low footfall in the town meant that keeping the cafe open was no longer feasible.

In a statement shared on Facebook, the owners clarified: "FatBirds Leamington and the café in Lord Leycester are thriving.

"Thank you to those who are loyal customers to us and left some very kind reviews."

FatBirds on Brook Street first opened in November 2024, transforming a former estate agency into the coffee shop.

Although this location is now closed, the cafe's branches in Leamington Spa, where it has been since 2008, as well as in the Lord Leycester on Warwick Street, remain open.
