A Warwick-based charity has received a cheque for over £1000 from Warwickshire Police.
Molly Olly's Wishes, which is focused on supporting children with life-threatening illnesses and their families, was presented with a cheque for £1,145.
The donation represents the total funds raised during the charity raffle at Warwickshire Police's recent, sponsored Excellence Awards ceremony.
Warwickshire Police shared: "...Huge thanks to all those who supplied fantastic raffle prizes and to those who generously contributed by buying tickets!
"We hope this donation will help the charity to continue granting special wishes that bring comfort during extremely difficult times."
Speaking of the donation, our Chief Constable Alex Franklin-Smith said: "We are proud to support Molly Olly's Wishes as they make an incredible difference, and we are delighted that our event could contribute to such a meaningful cause.
"I want to personally thank attendees for their kindness and support in making this possible. It was also a privilege to meet Rachel Ollerenshaw, one of the charity's founders, and hear first-hand about the incredible work they do."
