Following her attempts to raise funds to save her business, Warwick's potato lady has received support from fellow viral potato seller Spud Man.

The Tamworth potato seller, whose real name is Ben Newman, has around 4.2 million followers on TikTok.

On a video shared on Facebook, on 3 May, Ben directed people to Nina's GoFundMe page, stating: "I have chucked some money in.

"If any of you lot, by any chance, could chuck 50p, a pound in, we would get there very quickly with the amazing Spud Army."

The funds raised would allow Nina to apply for permission to convert her prep kitchen, in the Holloway, into a permanent site for the business, which she currently operates from the heart of Warwick Marketplace.

After several setbacks over the years, Nina's situation worsened earlier last month when she learned she had broken her shoulder after a fall, leaving her unable to drive or lift anything for at least three months.

Directing people to Nina's fundraising page, Ben, aka Spud Man, asked his viewers to show Nina some love.

He said: "We are all backing her and we are all rooting for her."

Following Ben's video, Nina shared an update on her fundraising page on 5 May, expressing gratitude for the continued support she has recieved.

Nina wrote: "To simply say thank you isn't enough, but please know that your efforts are helping to keep my dream alive."

After seeing the physiotherapist for her broken arm, Nina said she has been informed she must remain in her sling for at least another four weeks before she can start physio.
