Trains to London from Warwick are once again running as normal following three days of cancellations.

Services to the capital have been cancelled since Saturday following a landslide near Bicester.

Chiltern Railways told locals not to travel, while "urgent repairs" were completed, with all trains between Oxford and London Marylebone "unable to run".

A reduced service then ran on the rest of the line from Bicester North and Birmingham Moor Street.

But following the installation of 50 steel piles at the site of the landslip, Chiltern Railways has confirmed normal service has resumed.

"We are pleased to say that our lines have now reopened and we are running our standard timetable again," the operator said.

"We would like to thank you for your patience during the disruption to our services."

Chiltern previously said customers with an advance ticket will be entitled to a full, fee-free refund or the opportunity to rebook their journey.

Check this page for details of ticket acceptance arrangements that are in place with other train / bus operators.
