Police confirm two deaths following A46 southbound crash

Two people have died in a major crash which took place on the A46 southbound in the early hours of yesterday morning (1 July).
A man in his 30s and a woman in her 20s both died at the scene of the crash which happened near Stoneleigh.
Police were called to the incident at 6.31am and completed investigations on site throughout the day.
The dual carriageway was closed southbound between the A45 Coventry exit and the Stoneleigh Road junction from around 7.30am into the afternoon.
Police are now looking for CCTV or dashcam footage from around the time of the crash.
