Two more arrests after man shot dead in Leamington Spa

Two more people have been arrested as part of the investigation into the shooting of 30-year-old Ben Daly in August.

Warwickshire Police has already made six arrests after Mr Daly was found with a gunshot wound in Clemens Street at around 3am on Thursday August 10. 

The force announced last night (September 30) that it had arrested a 19-year-old man on suspicion of murder and a 39-year-old woman on suspicion of assisting an offender.

Both are currently in police custody.

In a statement in August, Mr Daly's family said: "Ben was a much-loved father, son, grandson, brother, uncle, and friend.

"He was our one and only. You brought so much love and laughter to us all.

"Your pranks kept so many people on their toes.

"We love you so very much and we'll hold you in our hearts forever."
