There will be no rail services to Warwick's stations this Saturday (October 8) as more strikes by members of the Rail, Maritime and Transport workers union have been announced.

Train operator Chiltern Railways has said it will not run any services north of Banbury on Saturday.

And services on Sunday (October 9) will start later, between 9am and 10am the company has confirmed.

A Chiltern spokesperson said: "We expect to have significantly less staff to service and prepare the number of trains we would normally need to operate the timetable, and we are unable to position our fleet how we normally would.

"Customers should check their first train if they are travelling on these days."

Services to Warwick Station and Warwick Parkway were also cancelled on October 1 and October 5 due to industrial action.
