Trains to and from London via Warwick Parkway have been cancelled due to a landslide near Bicester.

Chiltern Railways has told locals not to travel today (January 14) and tomorrow while "urgent repairs" are completely.

A reduced service is running between Birmingham Moor Street and Bicester North or Haddenham & Thame Parkway depending on the direction of travel.

Services between Oxford and London Marylebone are "unable to run" and will be cancelled.

"Due to a landslip in the Bicester North area, the lines towards the Midlands and Oxford are partially blocked," a Chiltern Railway service update said.

"Network Rail are undertaking urgent repairs on Sunday 14 and Monday 15 January.

"A reduced service is able to run between Birmingham Moor Street and London Marylebone, however trains will start/terminate at either Bicester North or Haddenham & Thame Parkway depending on the direction of travel, with a limited replacement bus service running between these stations.

"Disruption is expected to continue until the morning of Tuesday 16 January at the earliest."
