Commuters are likely to experience travel disruption today according to a Met Office weather warning for Warwick.

A yellow weather warning has been issued from 1pm to 10pm with up to 20mm of heavy rain predicted in some areas of the West Midlands.

The Met Office is also warning that there is a risk of hail and thunder, and forecasters have said that there is a chance of some flooding of homes and businesses or damage from lightning strikes.

Delays to train services are possible all afternoon, as well as a slight chance of power cuts.

Thunderstorms are expected to clear overnight.
