5. Huge number of objections for plans to 'ruin' village with 35 new homes

Right on the edge of Warwick, plans to build 35 houses in Barford have caused a stir.

Nearly 50 people have objected to plans from Kendrick Homes, which one local said would "ruin" the village.

The developer described the scheme as a "logical infill" for the village with a mixture of one to five bedroom homes.

But locals have not been so positive, with questions raised over parking, the need for more houses and overdevelopment.
