Here are our top picks:

1. Visit the theatre

Perceptions Dance Theatre will be presenting its latest family production, The Zoo at Kathmandu, a joyful and inclusive dance-theatre experience based on the beloved books by Tony Larcombe, at Warwick's Bridge House Theatre.

The Zoo at Kathmandu by Perceptions Dance Theatre, directed and choreographed by Tonia Payne-Cheney, will be showing on Friday 5 September at 7pm and Saturday 6 September at 4pm.

Organisers said: "Step into a magical world where animals dance, dreams come alive, and everyone is welcome.

"At the heart of this enchanting story is Enola Clare, a courageous polar bear, whose adventures through a very special zoo in Kathmandu captivate audiences young and old. As animals come to life through dynamic movement, colour, and sound, the stage transforms into a wondrous landscape of imagination, challenge, and belonging."

3. Warwick Markets

And of course this Saturday it is Warwick Market in Market Square, organised by CJ's Events Warwickshire.

The weekly market runs in the centre of town every weekend from 9am to 3pm.

Organisers said: "Warwick Market is a great opportunity to shop in a vibrant open-air setting, surrounded by many independent shops and cafes.

"On our Market, you will find variety and value, sold by new and experienced traders.

"You'll find stalls selling everything from fresh fruit and vegetables, plants and cut flowers, to fresh baking, fish and clothing, to gifts, and food specialities."
