1. Summer Beer, Cider and Music Festival

Warwick is set to welcome back a Summer Beer, Cider and Music Festival this weekend. 

Hosted by Warwick Court Leet, the festival will return on Friday, 11 July from 4pm to 10pm and Saturday, 12 July from 12 noon to 10pm, at Warwick Racecourse on Hampton Street. 

It will feature a range of drinks including 40 beers, 10 ciders and a Prosecco and Wine bar along with 'amazing' street food.

Proceeds from the festival will directly support the Warwick Court Leet Grant Fund, which donates financial grants to help and support charities, communities and individuals in Warwick.

Organisers said: "Whether you're a beer aficionado, a history enthusiast, or simply looking for a unique day out, The Warwick Court Leet Summer Beer, Cider & Music Festival promises an unforgettable experience."

Alongside the array of drinks, there will also be live music from local bands and musicians, adding to the festival's vibrant atmosphere.

Online tickets are £10 or £12 on the day, including a festival beer glass and tasting notes and are available here.

2. Old Shire Hall, Court and Dungeon Tour,

Discover a piece of crime and punishment history in Warwick, with Old Shire Hall, Court and Dungeon Tour, which begins on 12 July.

The tour covers over 300 years of trials, judgements and imprisonments and provides an opportunity for guests to see the civil and criminal courts, holding cells and the 17th century dungeon, and hear how justice was handed down in the past.

The tour starts outside the main doors of Old Shire Hall at 10am prompt, with guests asked to arrive promptly at 9.50am. 

The group will proceed to the lower floors so no later arrivals can be accommodated.

The tour is aimed at adults and is not suitable for children under the age of 12 (including carried infants).

Other tour dates include 26 July, 16 and 30 August, 6 and 27 September.

3. Warwick Market

This Saturday, Warwick Market returns to Market Square.

The weekly market runs in the centre of town every weekend from 9am to 3pm.

Organisers said: "Warwick Market is a great opportunity to shop in a vibrant open-air setting, surrounded by many independent shops and cafes. On our Market, you will find variety and value, sold by new and experienced traders.

"You'll find stalls selling everything from fresh fruit and vegetables, plants and cut flowers, to fresh baking, fish and clothing, to gifts, and food specialities."
