2. Jess Fest 22

It is Jess Fest 22 at Church Farm Brewery on Saturday (31 August).

Raising money for Jessica's Promise, the event is being held in memory of Jessica Pardo, who passed away on January 23 2021 at the age of 18, after being diagnosed with a brain tumour.

Organisers said: "Jessica passed away at the age of 18 and would have been celebrating her 22nd birthday this year.

"We will #keeptalkingaboutJessicaPardo, so we want to celebrate her life in the true Jessica Pardo way by getting together and partying."

3. Live Music

Renowned local artist Daniel Barry will be performing live at the Tilted Wig on Saturday.

The event description says: "It started in the back of a Buick on a road trip across Colorado when Dan was six.

"Listening to Country music and loving the storytelling but also the drive and guitars of rock music…….fast forward 13 years…. Dan now fuses British rock with the storytelling of Nashville , creating a fresh and vibrant sound."
