Oakley Grange announces exciting range of events this summer

Oakley Grange care home has an exciting array of upcoming events this summer.
Its first upcoming event is a 'virtual dementia tour' which will provide the exclusive opportunity to "gain a real insight into living with dementia".
The interactive event will run at the Cox Gardens site from 10am to 4pm on Wednesday 4 June.
Organisers said: "This virtual tour will give you the chance to gain a real insight into living with dementia.
"The experience will only take 15 minutes, afterwards you will have the opportunity to discuss your personal experience with us over a cup of coffee.
As part of its commitment to supporting the local community, Oakley Grange has recently launched a free Dementia Cinema Club to help those living with the condition and their carers.
The cinema club meets every 1st and 3rd of the month, offering "great entertainment in a safe social cafe and supportive environment for your loved ones with refreshments."
On Wednesday, 18 June, there will be a lecture series with Maria Rowe at 2.30pm.
Guests can expect a talk describing Maria's journey from England to a rich, rewarding film and television career in Canada and Hollywood, working with major stars including Robin Williams, Robert DeNiro, Warren Beatty, Al Pacino and Sir Anthony Hopkins.
Lastly, the 'wilder places of Britain with Sarais Crawshaw' event will take place on Tuesday, 12 July at 2.30pm.
Organisers said: "Sarais Crawshaw visits the wilder places of Britain, or the countryside near her home, working in Papercut, drawing or acrylic, she pictures the stories of wildlife lives as well as their beauty."
