1. Open Mic

Live music returns to the Old Coffee Tavern this week in the form of an open mic night.

Head down to the town centre pub on Thursday 1 May to hear a "whole bunch of musicians".

Organisers said: "Summer's kinda sorta here - so come join us on Thursday, 1 May 2025 and sing, play, watch, listen, drink, eat, be merry in any order you like.

"Our music jam session and open mic night is open to seasoned musicians and complete newcomers.

"We provide everything you need to perform in terms of microphones and amplification, so please bring an instrument, your best voice, a cheery smile, a thirst in need of quenching, hunger in need of feeding, and an appreciative ear."
