Fancy a wonderful, FREE day out ?

Warwickshire residents are invited to come and discover a completely new lifestyle at the World of Park & Leisure Homes Show this June.

Running over four days, this major industry event will see part of the NAEC Stoneleigh completely transformed into a mini Leisure Park Site, with over 50 park homes and lodges available for guests to look around.

The outdoor show, which has been running for over 30 years, will give visitors the chance to explore a range of luxury lodges, Residential Park Homes and other quirky options right down to tiny homes - and everything in-between!

The World of Park & Leisure Homes Show is your "chance to discover a whole new, affordable, secure and increasingly popular" leisure lifestyle for today, and a completely different retirement option for the future.

And as well as being a great day out, this free event offers locals the opportunity to find out everything they need to know about the Park and Leisure Lifestyle and specifically, the actual park homes and lodges themselves - even if they have never considered them before.

"It will open up a whole new potential lifestyle to you and show you exciting ideas for a Wonderful retirement option," organiser Pat Turner told Nub News.

"Visitors will see a huge range of opportunities for how they may want to spend their weekends or leisure time.

"You will be amazed at what you see.

"Going inside the homes is a real exciting eye opener, they are not what you think they would be.

"And in the short term it is a great day out, and a free day out, and it is just down the road!"

Sponsored by Berkeleyparks, the annual show has become the leading industry event, bringing the biggest manufacturers and companies to South Warwickshire for the last three decades.

Husband and wife team Pat and Jo, have been involved in running the show since 2002, and have seen it grow from strength to strength.

The couple also say how they have seen the industry expand over that time, with more and more people seeing the potential in retiring to a park home, or buying a lodge as somewhere to holiday.

"We have people who are looking to retire into the park homes - that is what the industry used to mainly be," Pat explained.

"They are a great retirement option.

"What is good is, you will be on a park with like-minded people, in a lovely setting, and it is very affordable, secure and the grounds, roads, pathways in the park are all taken care of for you.

"Buying a park home is much cheaper than bricks and mortar, and you are buying a wonderful place to live. They are so nice and modern, the homes are absolutely lovely.

"But what has happened increasingly over the past 10 years is on the lodge side – they have developed so much and become very desirable'.

"Lodges now are modern, fashionable even 'sexy'. They are beautiful, and can provide an excellent opportunity to enjoy your well deserved leisure time."

The World of Park & Leisure Homes Show, which has been at the NAEC since 2003, will this year run from Friday June 28 to Sunday June 30 plus there is a 'Trade only Preview' day on Thursday 27 June.

It is completely free for the general public to enter, giving visitors not only the chance to look inside a range of homes and lodges, but also to potentially find the perfect park to move to.

"People's way of life is changing, they want more leisure time," Jo added.

"And these lodges and park homes offer people exactly that.

"They offer a different lifestyle, often something people have never considered.

"The homes are all located in great communities, which open up lots of affordable new opportunities to people."

Pat added: "We turn Stoneleigh into a bit of a leisure park and have over 50 homes on show, plus lots of other exhibitors and demonstrators with related products and services.

"We basically create a village around part of Stoneleigh, so visitors get a great chance to see the homes in their true colours

"And people who are new to the idea, they get the chance to discover what it is like living on one of the parks."

And for Jo and Pat, who have seen the show grow from around 17 homes and six manufacturers in 2009 to nearly 60 homes, 20 plus manufacturers and nearly 100 other exhibitors last year, they are incredibly enthusiastic to see the show continue grow further.

"I am really proud," Jo said.

"It is a fantastic Free show and a great day out'.

"Everyone is amazed at what they see,

"I would be surprised if you don't come out and say 'wow' having looked around one of the homes.

"So why not come and see for yourself this June!"
