1. Eurovision Festival
A brand new 'Eurovision Festival' is coming to South Warwickshire this weekend, with the international event set to be broadcast for free.
CJ's Events Warwickshire has announced the May 11 event for the Pump Room Gardens in Leamington Spa, with the festival running from 10am all the way through to midnight.
The day will kick start with a market which will run until 6pm.
Alongside this there will be a host of food and drink stalls available from 10am until midnight.
Then Eurovision will be shown on a huge screen from 8pm, live from Malmo.
"Eurovision unites audiences worldwide through music and celebrates diversity and inclusivity," CJ's said.
"This event will be a fantastic opportunity to come together through music, food and drink.
"We are delighted to bring this free event to the town for the first year.
"During the day, we'll have a market offering a range of local artisans. They'll be selling arts, crafts and local produce.
"There will be kids rides and face painting. There will also be a selection of food and drink on offer."
2. Stratford Pursuits
Another new festival comes to South Warwickshire this weekend in the form of Stratford Pursuits.
The producer/director behind Leamington's largest outdoor arts festival, Art in the Park, is bringing a new and exciting free community festival experience to Stratford Upon Avon this weekend.
Kate Livingston of Slate Events is launching the Stratford Pursuits Festival, a celebration of music, art, and culture that promises to be "one of the most exciting festivals" of the year.
The festival will take place on Saturday 11 May and Sunday 12 May on the recreation grounds.
The festival is said to be "a perfect blend of cultural activities" that cater to every member of the family.
From History & Literature, Music & Dance, Theatre & Art, and Sport and Well-being, there is something for everyone to enjoy.
3. Food Takeover
Church Farm Brewery is once again inviting a local food producer down to the brewery this Friday (May 8) for a food takeover night.
The latest in a string of food events, come and sample The Urban Greek to kick start the weekend.
