An independent Kenilworth estate agent is celebrating its fifth anniversary, and says it has helped sell over £115 million in property since launching.
Julie Philpot launched Julie Philpot Residential in April 2019 after leaving her job with a high street agency to launch her own portfolio.
Since then the business has grown with the opening of her own office near Abbey Fields, and with fellow agent Donna McCamphill joining the company as a director.
In that time the team has also received the Best in Postcode Area award at the prestigious ESTAS Customer Service Awards 2023 - the biggest awards in the UK property industry.
And it has also started to expand its services into Warwick.
"The past five years have absolutely flown by - that is all I can say," Julie said.
"I am so proud of what we have been able to achieve. As I was coming up to the fifth birthday I was having a look at the number as you do.
"I was having a bit of a tot up and I'm really pleased to say we have now sold and completed on over 270 property transactions in that time.
"Not only are the transactions brilliant, but the property values are staggering as it equates to over £115 million worth of property - how amazing is that!"
Julie was also quick to thank viewing advisors Kim and Christine for their hard work and said the business would not succeed without them.
She also thanked the many customers who have chosen to use the boutique agency over the past half decade.
"I would like to thank everyone who has thanked us with their business and we are very much looking forward to our next five years," Julie added.
"If you would like us to help you - please do get in touch!
And reflecting over the past five years, Julie said the success of the business was even more of an achievement when you consider how much the property market has changed since 2019.
"When I launched I felt the property market was quite normal - for want of a better description," she explained.
"It has gone through being extremely busy, a fastly moving market, then of course we had the economic slowdown, the interest rate rises.
"Everything has flipped round really from being a seller's market to a buyer's market.
"Amongst all of that we of course dealt with the effects of Covid too."
