A local financial firm is celebrating after one of its paraplanners won a national award.

Luke Viner, a paraplanner at Simpson Financial Services (SFS), which is based in Leamington, made the team proud when he was named ' Paraplanner Apprentice of the Year' at the CII & PFS Apprenticeship and Education Awards.

The awards, which took place on Friday 16 October in London, aim to showcase exceptional achievements and skill development demonstrated by apprentices, along with highlighting the vital role employers play in supporting rising stars within the profession.

The SFS team shared: "We're incredibly proud to share that Luke was named Paraplanner Apprentice of the Year!

"A fantastic achievement and thoroughly deserved recognition of all the hard work, dedication, and commitment Luke has shown throughout his apprenticeship and his career so far.

"A huge congratulations to Luke and to all the other winners and finalists.

"It was a lovely day celebrating some fantastic achievements across the profession."
