1. Warwick Bee House and Nature Trail launch
The official launch of the Warwick Bee House and Nature Trail by the Mayor of Warwick is taking place this Sunday (3 May).
From 1.30pm to 3.30pm, individuals can start walking the trail from the trail location nearest to them: St Nicholas Park, Priory Park, Packmores Community Garden, Hill Close Garden, Quaker House Community Garden, Tapping Way Park - on the Chase Meadow Estate.
This is a free family afternoon to:
- Walk the brand new trail
- Get a first look at the Bee House
- See wild non-stinging bees flying nearby
- See solitary bees nesting
The trail takes about an hour to walk between the five town centre Bee Houses or 2 hours for those who want visit the sixth house on the Chase Meadow Estate.
Most of the walk is away from noisy roads and is fairly quick to get around.

2. Off the Rails returns
A local brewery is set to revive the spirit of a much-loved local beer festival this spring with a four-day celebration of independent brewing across Warwickshire.
Warwickshire's Windmill Hill Brewery and Taproom , alongside Under the Arches Producers are set to host another Off the Rails event this bank holiday weekend (Sunday 3 May).
Organisers describe it as 'the closest thing that Royal Leamington Spa has to an 'urban festival' with live music, street food, and locally distilled, brewed, and roasted drinks to enjoy.'
Live acts at the Windmill Hill stage include: Adam Johns from 2 to 2.30pm, Crushed Velvet from 5 to 7pm and Tin Pot Hat from 7.30pm to 9.30pm.
The event runs from 1pm on Sunday 3 May util late, at Neilston Street Leamington Spa.

3. Amy Winehouse Tribute
This is one for the Amy Winehouse fans.
On 2 May, the Assembly in Leamington will be hosting a celebration of the artist.
Attendees can enjoy performances from Laura Jane Butler of Amy's biggest hits from Rehab, Back To Black, Valorie and more.
The event will run from 7pm to 11pm.

4. Women and Girls cricket
Start something new with women and girls cricket for beginners on Tuesday evenings at Hunningham Cricket Club.
Attendees will receive coaching in key concepts of the game but most importantly have fun!
The club runs from 6pm to 7.30pm.
