Solar panels could cover roof at Warwick hotel

A Warwick hotel has applied for permission to install a series of solar panels on its roof.

Atlas Hotels Limited has asked for permission in principle for the works at the Holiday Inn Express on Stratford Road.

Plans submitted to Warwick District Council show some 249 panels would be installed.

The application says they would have a total power output of 112 kWp.

Drawings submitted show the panels would be installed on three sides of the roof of the 'L-shaped' building.
