On Saturday, 26 July, Warwick town centre was buzzing with atmosphere as the much-anticipated annual Smith Street Party made its return.

The event commenced at 10am, with Smith Street transformed into a vibrant market bustling with local traders and businesses that lined the street.

There were various stalls featured offering a diverse array of items ranging from handmade jewellery and sweet treats to skincare products and pet goodies, ensuring there was something for everyone to enjoy.

Event organisers, Hannah and Steve, reflected on the success of the day, sharing: "This is a truly unique event, funded in partnership with WDC and the independent businesses on the street.

"Every year has always been warmly welcomed by the community and this year was no exception - bigger and better than ever!

"When the sun finally came out, so did so many of the lovely people of Warwick and surrounding area to party on Smith Street.

The Mayor also walked around the party between 11 am to 12 noon, meeting visitors and local businesses.

"A great vibrant crowd enjoying the entertainment and the wares of the local businesses, showcasing their offerings.

"It was a very proud moment for the street and we look forward to celebrating with everyone again next year.

As the day progressed, dancers gathered around the main stage where performers entertained the crowd with a variety of songs.
